The mission of MarrVelous Pet Rescues Inc, a Florida 501(c)(3) non-profit, is to provide immediate, necessary counsel, care and treatment for animals abandoned, stray or in need. We seek temporary shelter in foster homes until permanent adoption into a compatible, loving, and caring home is achieved. We promote education for responsible animal care, spay & neuter, microchipping and training.
Did you know...
The average cost per animal in our rescue is $350. This covers shots, spay/neuter, microchip etc. This does not include our special needs animals we take in with Heart-worm, dental issues, other medical needs, training and sometimes boarding.
As a non-profit fundraising and donations are what help us continue to be able to provide all the help these animals need. We commit to do whatever is necessary in order for the animal to have a 2nd chance at a good home.
As a Virtual Shelter, foster homes are the foundation of our adoption program. Animals in shelters often show signs of depression, anxiety, and aggression after even a short time. This environment is not conducive to helping a dog find a home, and the longer they stay there the more serious the problems can become. We can’t thank our fosters enough for stepping up to give these animals love & a home during their transition to their forever home. The more we increase our foster base the more animals we can save.

Well, we have the perfect solution to helping one our precious MPR rescue dogs! Become a virtual foster parent.
By becoming a virtual foster parent you can care for one of our MPR dogs in one of the most demanding areas needed, by financially supporting their care while in the Marrvelous Pet Rescues & Adoptions Program.Starting at just $50, you can become a Virtual Foster parent and provide funds to help cover veterinary care, purchase supplies, training or on occasion, boarding for our foster dogs. Your donation will go a long way in ensuring a foster dog is well cared for! When you become a Virtual Foster, you become a member of our community of foster families! You will get to see photos of our foster animals, hear stories about them and see our foster families at work taking care of these very precious lives through email and Facebook updates. Your gift will be pooled with other cat or dog Virtual Foster donors.
We have 5 Levels of Virtual Fostering to choose from:
BUDDY
A donation of $100. Your name will be listed on our Facebook and website for at 2 months, and you will receive a photo and the story of the animal you are sponsoring.
Paw pular- PAL
A donation of $50. Your name will be listed on our website & Facebook Page for at least one month as a sponsor of the animal you choose.
BFF (Best Furry Friend)
A donation of $250. Your name will be listed for at least 4 months on our website & Facebook, and you will receive a photo of the pet you desire to foster virtual.
GUARDIAN
A donation of $500. Less than the annual cost of a cup of coffee each morning! At this level, your name will be listed on the web site for at least 6 months. And of course on Facebook where you can see updates on the animal you are sponsoring.
FURRY GOD PARENT
The ultimate virtual foster parent, with a reoccurring monthly donation of $50 or more. You will Virtually foster many pets throughout the year and your name/business will be named on our website and Facebook page all year long.
